–  Ph.D. – Warwick University, 1987. Thesis title: “Study on the constitutional experience in Kuwait, 1962 – 1986”. 

  • Master of Laws degree in Comparative Law (LLM) San Diego University, 1984.   
  • Bachelor of Laws and Jurisprudence (Sharia) (LLB) (Awarded the Dean of the Faculty of Law Award for Excellence) – Kuwait University, 1981.
