Call for Papers
For several months, the world has been and is still witnessing the rapid spread and expansion of the Corona pandemic, as its catastrophic and devastating consequences have affected all human societies. Statistics concerned with this virus have recorded the infection of more than two million people and the death of more than one hundred and five thousand people (to date) and the numbers are increasing outrageously. It is widely feared that this virus will cause drastic harm to the health sector’s infrastructure and paralyze its ability to respond to its challenges. Life has almost stopped in various parts of the world and people were forced to stay home in an attempt to preserve their lives and prevent the disaster from further expansion. Precautionary measures taken by countries and governments followed, starting with the closing of their borders, the implementation of quarantine, total and partial curfews, declaration of states of emergency, as well as other measures.
These situations and procedures that have included most aspects of life, with their direct and indirect effects on millions of people, have raised legal problems and issues in various fields, whether administrative, contractual, commercial, economic, health or social fields, or in the field of international economic law. These issues also include the integrity of the legal basis for the measures that have been taken in response to the governmental response to the crisis, as well as others, which requires the intervention of scholars and legal researchers in order to answer the questions raised in these and other aspects.
In light of the foregoing, and in order to contribute positively to addressing the consequences and repercussions of this catastrophic pandemic, by providing practical and academic solutions, the editorial board of Kuwait International Law School’s journal is pleased to invite colleagues from Arab and international universities to participate with their specialized research in relation to the pandemic. Research papers will be published in a special supplement that will be issued in June 2020. The deadline for submitting research papers is May 20, 2020.
Papers shall be within fifteen thousand words (15000) as a maximum, and they will be subject to referral according to the approved publishing rules.

دعوة إلى المشاركة
يشهد العالم منذ عدة أشهر ولايزال وقائع انتشار سريع وتمدد واسع لجائحة كورونا، شملت آثارها ونتائجها الكارثية والمدمرة المجتمعات البشرية كافة، حيث سجلت الإحصائيات التي تلاحق هذا الفيروس إصابة أكثر من مليوني شخص ووفاة أكثر من مائة وخمسة آلاف شخص (حتى تاريخه)، وهي أرقام تتزايد بشكل مهول ويُخشى على نطاق واسع أن تصيب في مقتل بنية القطاع الصحي وتشل قدرته على الاستجابة لتحديات الجائحة. كما توقفت مظاهر الحياة أو تكاد في كل أرجاء المعمورة، وأجبر الناس على ملازمة منازلهم حفاظاً على حياتهم وللحيلولة دون اتساع نطاق الكارثة. وتلاحقت الإجراءات الاحترازية التي اتخذتها الدول والحكومات، بدءاً من إغلاق حدودها، وتنفيذ الحجر الصحي وحظر التجول الكلي والجزئي، وإعلان حالات الطوارئ، وغيرها
وقد أثارت هذه الأوضاع والإجراءات التي شملت أغلب مناحي الحياة، ومست آثارها المباشرة وغير المباشرة الملايين من الناس، إشكاليات وقضايا قانونية في المجالات المختلفة، سواء الإدارية، أو التعاقدية، أو التجارية، أو الاقتصادية، أو الصحية أو الاجتماعية، أو في مجال القانوني الدولي الاقتصادي، كما تشمل هذه القضايا سلامة الأسس القانونية للإجراءات التي تم ويتم اتخاذها تباعا للاستجابة الحكومية للأزمة، وغيرها، وهو ما يستدعي تدخل المفكرين والباحثين القانونيين للرد على التساؤلات المثارة في هذه الجوانب وغيرها
وفي ضوء ما سبق، وسعيا منها للإسهام الإيجابي في معالجة نتائج وتداعيات هذه الجائحة الكارثية، من خلال تقديم حلول واجتهادات عملية وعلمية، يسر هيئة تحرير مجلة كلية القانون الكويتية العالمية توجيه الدعوة إلى كافة الزملاء من المفكرين والباحثين في كليات القانون العربية والأجنبية للمشاركة بأبحاثهم في المجالات التخصصية ذات الصلة، حيث سيتم نشرها في ملحق خاص سيصدر في شهر يونيو 2020، وسيوزع على نطاق واسع داخل الكويت وخارجها، مع العلم بأن آخر أجل لقبول هذه الأبحاث سيكون يوم 10 مايو 2020
تكون الأبحاث المرسلة في حدود خمسة عشر ألف كلمة (15000) كحد أقصى، وستخضع للتحكيم وفقاً لقواعد النشر المعتمدة، ويتم استقبال نصوص الأبحاث على البريد الإلكتروني التالي
