Kuwait International Law School’s Second Forum
Entitled “Medical Error and Hospitals Responsibility for Plastic Surgery”
Complementing the Student Forum entitled (Taxes and their Basis in Islamic Law) prepared by the Public Law Department in cooperation with Dr. Dawood Bin Issa, in the previous academic year, the Student Development and Competitions Department organized the second forum of Kuwait International Law School during the first semester 2020-2021, entitled (Medical error and hospitals’ responsibility for plastic surgery), in cooperation with faculty members from the Department of Private Law:

The forum, which was held at 8:00 am on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, through (Zoom), aimed at enhancing academic participation and exchange of experiences between the School’s academic departments and faculty, in addition to preparing and qualifying a group of distinguished students in drafting legal working papers. Faculty members supervising the preparation of the forum nominated four students to participate in the forum as follows:
Zubaida Mustafa Haider Hala Ahmed Al-Duwairi
Dana Jaber Al-Marzouq Venus Adel Al-Anzi
The forum also hosted one of the important personalities with distinguished scientific and practical experience in the field of surgery, Dr. Salman Al-Sabah – Head of the Surgery Department at Jaber Hospital, with the aim of sharing with the attendees, members of the faculty and students, his experience in the field relevant to the forum’s topic. He initiated discussions and added valuable experience to the forum due to his extensive and reputable scientific and practical experience in this field.
A group of specialists from the faculty members in the Private Law Department formed a neutral committee to evaluate the performance and working papers prepared by the participating students. The committee included:

At the end of the forum, Venus Adel Al-Anzi (students) received the certificate of the best working paper.
In conclusion, Mrs. Hana Abdullah Al-Ibrahim, Director of the Student Development and Competitions Department, on behalf of Kuwait International Law School, expressed her sincere thanks to all the participating members of the forum including guests, faculty members, students and employees for this fruitful cooperation for the success of the second forum of Kuwait International Law School.
The Student Development & Competitions Department also welcomes receiving proposals made by the academic departments in KILAW regarding new topics for the academic forum for future semesters.
المنتدى الثاني لكلية القانون الكويتية العالمية
بعنوان “الخطأ الطبي ومسؤولية المستشفيات عن عمليات التجميل”
استكمالا للمنتدى الطلابي: (الضرائب وأساسها في الشريعة الإسلامية) الذي أعده قسم القانون العام بالتعاون مع الدكتور داوود بن عيسى، في العام الدراسي المنصرم، نظمت إدارة التطوير الطلابي والمسابقات المنتدى الفصلي الثاني لكلية القانون الكويتية العالمية خلال الفصل الدراسي الأول 2020- 2021، تحت عنوان (الخطأ الطبي ومسؤولية المستشفيات عن عمليات التجميل)، وذلك بالتعاون مع الأساتذة الأفاضل من أعضاء هيئة التدريس في قسم القانون الخاص

وقد هدف المنتدى الذي تم انعقاده في تمام الساعة الثامنة من صباح يوم الأربعاء الموافق 2 ديسمبر 2020 عبر تطبيق (زووم) إلى تعزيز المشاركة العلمية وتبادل الخبرات بين الأقسام العلمية والهيئة التدريسية في الكلية، بالإضافة إلى إعداد وتأهيل نخبة من الطلبة المتميزين في صياغة أوراق العمل القانونية، فقد شارك أربعة طلابتم ترشيحهم من قبل أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية المشرفة على إعداد المنتدى

كما استضاف المنتدى إحدى الشخصيات المهمّة من ذوات الخبرة العلمية والعملية المرموقة في مجال الجراحة وهو السيد/ د. سلمان الصباح – رئيس قسم الجراحة في مستشفى جابر، وذلك بهدف مشاركة الحاضرين من أعضاء هيئة تدريسية والطلبة خبرته في مجال موضوع المنتدى، حيث فتح باب المناقشة التي أثرت المنتدى وأفضت إلى الإفادة من خبرة الضيف، الذي لم يبخل على الحضور، ولا سيما الطلبة،بما يمتلكه من خبرة علمية وعملية واسعة ومرموقة في هذا المجال
وقد شاركنا نخبة من المختصين من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في قسم القانون الخاص من خلال تشكيل لجنة محايدة لتقييم أداء وأوراق عمل الطلبة المشاركين، ضمّت كلا من

وفي نهاية المنتدى تم الإعلان عن شهادة أفضل ورقة عمل حازت عليها الطالبة فينوس عادل العنزي
ختاماً تتقدم مدير إدارة التطوير الطلابي والمسابقات السيدة/ هناء عبدالله الإبراهيم باسم كلية القانون الكويتية العالمية بوافر الشكر لجميع الأعضاء المشاركين في المنتدى من ضيوف وأعضاء هيئة تدريسية وطلبة وموظفين على هذا التعاون المثمر لإنجاح المنتدى الثاني لكلية القانون الكويتية العالمية
كما ترحب إدارة التطوير الطلابي والمسابقات باستقبال اقتراحات الأقسام العلمية في كلية القانون الكويتية العالمية حول ممواضيع جديدة لعقد منتديات أكاديمية حولها، خلال الأعوام القادمة
