Resolving Arab Capital Investment Disputes: The Alternatives & Risks

Abstract
This research shall deal with the means of settling disputes resulting from investing Arab capital within the Arab world by analyzing the texts of the unified agreement to invest Arab capital in the Arab countries, before and after its amendment, as well as the texts of investment protection agreements signed between the Arab countries that allow resorting to arbitration before ICSID. This research will review the available dispute settlement methods in front of the Arab capital: conciliation - mediation - free arbitration and institutional arbitration before the ICSID - recourse to the Arab Investment Court with demonstration of the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
