Abstract

Foreign investment is the most important pillar on which countries depend to move the wheel of economic development within them, as well as to attract foreign capital. Investment contracts are considered long-term contracts, as they are exposed to several risks, including non-commercial risks, especially in light of the host country’s commitment to subjecting these investments to its internal legal system as well as political risks.
