Protection of academic production ‘ s property between reality and law

Abstract
Academic production is a set of ideas that are regulated in a certain form .it is the result of the researcher's , the lecturer's , the professor's and the student's mind . We defined through this research the academic production before illustrating its protection by a brief explanation of its protection in international conventions . And we found that the Egyptian law has explained intellectual property in details . Altough the variety of the legal statutes in this field , the reality has revealed that there is a huge gap between the law , and its effectiveness . We proved also through this research that there is a strong relationship between the protection of academic production and its invetsment . This is a direct relationship , this means that when the protection is increased , the investment is increased in the same time , but this is related to the legal investment ( by the owner itself or the right holder ) . This means that the non_ existence of strong legal rules to protect the property of academic protection may lead to the fear of investing this production , to avoid stealing and imitation . In contrast , there is an inverse relationship between the protection of academic production property and its investment in an illegal way . As when the rules protecting property are decreased , stealing and illegal investment is increased . So we illustrated and evaluated through this research the civil protection ways of academic production , in order to know its defects . We also explained the role of Universities in this field as it needs to play an important role in order to commercialize the academic production like the Universities in USA . In the end , we reached some results and recommendations . We can say that it is necessary to make legal rules more effective , whether by imposing strong penalities on those who breache legal rules ,or by mentioning the ways of enhancing legal investment of academic production property .
